Space Nuns Bastet Seraphim squad (10 models). 3D printed minis.
3D printed Sci-Fi Space Nuns Bastet Seraphim (10 models) miniatures by Minigames Miniatures (See links below for further info). Minis are printed in 28-32mm scale and stand roughly 2" tall (top of base to head) when assembled. 10x 32mm 3D printed blank bases are supplied, but if you chose to use your own then a base size of 30mm+ is recommended. The miniatures are printed using a custom resin mixture offering great detail and a bit of flexibility. Miniatures will be supplied as pictured unassembled in a sealed package. These minis are great figures for Sci-Fi RPGS or wargames. Picture comparison between this miniature and another is for size reference only. There are enough parts to assemble all 10 models with either ranged or melee weapons. Flight stands are made from a high flexibility mixture and are very resilient to breaking.
A note on the assembly. The tolerances for the backpacks and flying bases were sculpted to precise dimensions and therefore fit extremely tight. Using a drill bit of 2.4mm for the backpack mounts, and 1.8mm for the flight stands to widen the holes insures a snug, but easy fit for assembly.
Parts list is the following:
16x heads
10x bodies
10x backpacks
12x sword arms (6 left, 6 right)
20x pistol arms (10 left, 10 right)
2 one handed assault rifles (1 left, 1 right)
4x handheld flamethrowers (2 left, 2 right)
4x melter pistols (2 left, 2 right)
10x high flex flight stands
10x 32mm bases

-Cleaning and assembling your prints-
The nature of 3D printing does leave behind areas in need of sanding or scraping to remove support marks left behind from the printing and cleaning process and to make sure any parts requiring assembly fit flush. 3D printed miniatures rarely never need some extent of sanding or scraping to remove material and marks left behind from these processes. Wet sanding is highly advised as it achieves the cleanest results when cleaning up support marks. Some models may also have been hollowed to increase print reliability and reduce material costs leading to further filling and sanding as drainage holes will be present on these figures. These drainage holes can be filled easily with the use of epoxy putty or using plastic rods, toothpicks or thin wood dowels and CA glue. For final assembly CA (cyanoacrylate) super glue is recommended as plastic and other glues are incompatible with these minis.
!!HEALTH WARNING!! - Items fall under CA prop 65.
As with most resin materials it is advised to wear a dust mask when sanding resins as resin dust can be harmful to your lungs and sinuses. This applies whether its a two part epoxy, urethane or UV activated compound. Wet sanding is another method to safely sand the models with reduced upper respiratory risk and also provides a smoother end finish.
All models are typically batch printed and therefore small batches of single miniatures are typically kept on hand, allowing on demand printing to be done for larger groups of models without excessive delays. This is what allows for a tight processing and handling time of 3 days. All orders are typically taken care of within a 3-business day window with exceptions to large orders and holidays.
